‘Thank God I Had a Stroke’ was written so that I could help others cope when suffering from a serious illness, or the carers who look after those who are suffering. By following my story of how I fought my way to a successful recovery, others may also find the courage and strength to do the same.
As well as providing the book, I intend to engage in presentations to groups interested in hearing a motivational and inspiring talk on how to overcome a serious illness and still remain productive and passionate. By motivating and inspiring those who are also suffering, I will be fulfilling my goal of helping others in their time of need. There will be no charge and I may be able to attend interstate venues as well.
If you know of any group that you think may be interested in having me as a speaker, perhaps you would be kind enough to give me their contact details so that I can follow up. Or please feel free to pass my details on to them. Either Peter O’Connor or I will make the follow up contact with them.

Both Peter and I have been made Ambassadors of the Stroke Foundation which is a great honour. This means that when we provide presentations and talks, we are not only able to share my story, but we can provide valuable information supplied by the Stroke Foundation.
